2017-18 Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount men’s golf team will be traveling throughout the western United States next year. The team released its fall and spring schedule this week, which features 10 tournaments across five states, all leading up to the West Coast Conference Championships in April.

The Lions first hit the course for a three-day tournament in Denver at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational from Sept. 24-26. October features a return to the Nick Watney Invitational in Fresno, Calif., before a trip to Arizona for the Wyoming Southern Dunes Invitational. LMU closes out the fall in Maui with a return to Lahaina for the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic the first weekend of November.

Once the calendar turns to 2018, LMU will travel to Tuscon at the end of January for the Arizona Intercollegiate, before a different desert trip in the middle of February for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Springs.

A pair of WCC opponents host events with Pepperdine’s Southwestern Invitational closing out February and University of San Francisco hosting the Mackenzie Match Play two weeks later in Santa Cruz.

LMU travels north to the Oregon Duck Invitational to close out March before co-hosting the Geiberger Invitational with Menlo University at the PGA Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course. Three-day hosted event will be played in Palm Springs from Apr. 8-10, and serve as the final tournament prior to the West Conference Championships just days later from Apr. 15-18.
