June 1, 2017

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Loyola Marymount University today announced a new 7-year partnership with adidas.

With the new all-school deal, the Portland, Ore., based company will be the official athletic footwear, apparel, equipment and accessory brand of the Lions through the 2023-24 season. In addition to all 22 intercollegiate athletic LIONS teams, adidas will also provide apparel and accessories for coaches and athletic staff.

"LMU is excited to partner with adidas as we seek to promote and expose both our brands at the local, regional, national and international level,” LMU Athletics Director Dr. William Husak said. "Adidas has long been a brand associated with innovation and quality. These characteristics, as well as a host of others, contributed to the decision of partnering with adidas."

“Our mission is to help athletes perform better and over the next seven years, we’ll provide the Lions with our most innovative footwear, apparel and equipment and look to help elevate Loyola Marymount’s sports teams across the nation,” said, Jim Murphy, director of NCAA Sports Marketing at adidas America. “We believe that sports have the power to change lives and this new partnership is a great opportunity for adidas to collaborate with Loyola Marymount University Athletics and help them execute their mission of ‘Pursuing Victory with Honor’.”
