Final Results

LOS ANGELES - Tyler Torano, who will be a junior on the LMU men's golf team in 2012-13, earned a top-10 finish at the 113th SCGA Amateur Championship held July 20-22 at Bug Canyon Country Club.

Torano, along with teammate Bryan Bergna, advanced to the SCGA Championship final rounds by making the cut on Friday, July 20. Torano shot rounds of 74 and 71 to advance, while Bergna posted rounds of 75 and 73.

Torano went on to finish the tournament with six-over 294 to sit in a tie for eighth with Ramie Sprinking of Camarillo. He shot a third round 77 and then an even par 72 to earn the top-10 finish. Bergna went on to finish 39th with a final score of 311.
