2011 WCC Title on the Line

The rollercoaster season that has been 2011 for the LMU men's soccer team takes its final twist this week as the Lions continue their quest for the WCC title. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, LMU welcomes San Diego to Sullivan Field for a 2 p.m. kick off. On Friday, Nov. 11, the regular season comes to a close in Moraga, Calif., with a 2 p.m. match at Saint Mary's.

Lions Unbeaten Streak Ends in Loss to Pilots

Looking a bit out of rhythm for the first time in nearly a month, the LMU men's soccer team fell, 3-1, to Portland Friday at Sullivan Field. The loss snapped a five-game unbeaten streak that the Lions (-6-10-1, 4-4-1 WCC) were riding since a 3-2 win at Portland on Oct. 9.

Riding a five-game unbeaten streak and currently sitting in a four-way tie for second in the WCC standings, the LMU men's soccer team hosts two key match-ups at Sullivan Field this weekend. The Lions take on Portland at 3 p.m. followed by Gonzaga on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m.
