At LMU...

All-West Coast Conference second team... WCC All-Academic honorable mention... WCC Player of the Week (Nov. 12)... Only player to start all 20 matches... logged a team-high 1,870 minutes... tallied two goals and two assists for six points... scored the second goal in a 2-2 overtime draw with Saint Mary's (Sept. 28)... scored the final goal in a 4-2 win over Saint Mary's (Nov. 11) to close out the 2012 season... also had an assist in the season-ending win over Saint Mary's (Nov. 11) as well as an assist in a 3-1 win at Gonzaga (Nov. 4)...

Started all 17 matches he appeared in... scored one goal, the eventual game-winner in a 2-0 final at Oral Roberts (Sept. 1)... 1519 minutes played were second most on the team... key member of the Lions' backline which posted four shutouts and held opponents to a 1.32 GAA... National Scholar-Athlete...

Did not play due to NCAA Transfer rules... National Scholar-Athlete...

At Gonzaga...

Honorable Mention All-WCC... started all 18 games and helped Gonzaga post a 1.23 GAA... had one assist, providing the pass for the team's second goal in a 3-0 win over Georgia Southern... named to the Ohio State Classic All-Tournament Team...

WCC All-Freshman Team... only freshman and one of seven players to start all 19 matches as he blended with veteran defense that allowed 1.45 goals/match... first collegiate point was match-winning goal at Santa Clara in 2-1 victory, his header at 87:12 giving Gonzaga the Halloween Night victory... scored another goal in next match at San Francisco in 3-2 victory... selected to Gonzaga/Nike Classic All-Tournament team as Gonzaga won title...

High School...
Four-year varsity letter-winner at Lutheran High School in Orange County playing for coach Steve Harder... played primarily center back, but did see action as forward senior year when he scored six goals and had four assists... first team All-Trinity League, All-County, All-CIF and first team All-American as a senior... second team All-Empire League as sophomore and First Team All-Trinity League as junior as team captured league title... selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game as a senior... played U15 for Canyon PSA, then played for Pateadores in Mission Viejo... Pateadores won 2005 Surf Cup and 2006 Nomads College Showcase... also played in Coast Soccer Premier League... competed in track his senior season, running the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 4x100m and 4x400m relays... member of honor society...

Mitchell Blake Boland was born on June 4, 1990 in Orange, Calif.... parents are Marty and Kathy Boland... has an older brother, Josh, who played soccer at Chapman University, and a younger sister, Kayleen... chose LMU for its great location, great education, and excellent soccer program... volunteered at St. Columbkill Elementary School and Spokane Homeless Shelters... majoring in sociology...
