Lions Fall to Cardinal in PK Shootout

The 2013 LMU men's soccer season came to a heartbreaking end Thursday as they fell 3-2 in penalty kicks to Stanford in the NCAA Tournament first round.


Krumpe Named WCC Coach of the Year, 10 Lions Honored

LMU men's soccer had a program best three first team All-WCC selections and its first Goalkeeper of the Year honor.


Trio Named to WCC All-Academic Teams

Ryan Felix, Trent Clifton and Craig Nitti were all honored Friday as the West Coast Conference announced the 2013 West Coast Conference Men's Soccer All-Academic Team.


Final Stretch Begins at Home

Holding a four-point lead in the West Coast Conference standings, the LMU men's soccer team begins a key three-game homestand this week as they chase their second league crown in four years. On Friday, Nov. 8, the Lions host Portland at 7 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. tilt on Sunday, Nov. 10 versus Gonzaga.


Lions Win Fourth Straight

Ryan Felix headed home the golden goal game-winner with two seconds remaining in the first 10-minute overtime period and the Lions earned a huge three points in the West Coast Conference standings with a 1-0 win in Moraga Friday.

Appeared in 19 matches, earning a trio of starts... scored one goal in his rookie campaign... netted that first collegiate goal in a 4-1 win over UC Riverside (Sept. 9)... took nine shots, including four on frame... played 620 minutes... National Scholar-Athlete...

Team captain at Santiago High School... earned All-CIF, All-Area, and All-League honors his final two seasons in high school... was a first-team Division II All-CIF selection as a senior and third-team selection as a junior... was named BIg VIII League MVP as a senior... led his club team, the West Coast Futbol Club U-18, to the 2010 USYSA National Championships... earned eight letters in high school, four in soccer and four as a kicker for the football team... he was a two-time all-league kicker, hitting the longest field goals in school history at 50 and 51 years... graduated from Santiago earning Honors with Distinction... he was also an AP Scholar with Honor...

Ryan Allen Felix was born on June 21, 1993, in Los Angeles, Calif.... parents are Linda and Allen Felix... oldest of three sons ... chose LMU over USC, Nebraska and USD because he fell in love with the campus and small class size, which will help him achieve his goals... majoring in physics/applied math...
