Nick Longo joined the LMU Strength and Conditioning staff in the fall of 2011, serving as the strength coach for baseball, men's soccer, men's and women's track & cross country, women's rowing and men's and women's tennis.
Prior to LMU, Longo worked as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Cal State Fullerton, working with baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's golf, and women's tennis. He earned both his bachelor's degree (2008) and master's degree (Kinesiology, 2011) at Cal State Fullerton, studying under Dr. Lee Brown in the Center for Sports Performance.
Longo was a four-year track and field letterwinner at Cal State Fullerton. He remains No. 5 on the Titan's all-time performers list in the hammer throw. After graduation, Longo went on to throw the hammer for Victory Athletic TC.
A National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Longo is also FMS and American Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED certified. He currently resides in Westchester, Calif.
