LMU men's soccer has sent nine players into the MLS and aims to continue that trend. LMU Magazine took a look inside the program and the successful transitions the Lions have made from college to the pro ranks.
Six Lions were honored by the West Coast Conference Tuesday as the league released the 2011 All-WCC and All-Freshman men's soccer teams. Leading the Lion contingent was senior Artur Jozkowicz who was named to the first team.
The rollercoaster season that has been 2011 for the LMU men's soccer team takes its final twist this week as the Lions continue their quest for the WCC title. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, LMU welcomes San Diego to Sullivan Field for a 2 p.m. kick off. On Friday, Nov. 11, the regular season comes to a close in Moraga, Calif., with a 2 p.m. match at Saint Mary's.
