LOS ANGELES - Adding experience and depth to a goalkeeper void left by the graduation of two seniors, LMU men's soccer Head Coach Paul Krumpe has announced the addition of junior Collin Partee, a transfer from Utah Valley University, to the Lion program this fall.

"Collin gives us some real, tangible D1 experience in a position we just graduated two seniors who had played every minute for the past four seasons," said Krumpe. "He will be expected to start and play from day one and will be an excellent resource and role model for our younger keepers as we continue their development. He has proven he can play at this level and shown that he can be an effective leader on and off the field."

The 6-2 Partee, a native of Camas, Wash., spent the past two seasons as the starting goalkeeper for the Wolverines. He started 16 of UVU's 20 games in 2015, finishing with 1,400 minutes played, an 0.97 goals against average and five shutouts. He went 11-3 -2 overall, earning All-Western Athletic Conference Second Team honors and leading UVU to the WAC Tournament finals and an at-large NCAA Tournament berth.

He earned the starting position at UVU as a rookie, finishing with a 7-6-3 record and a 0.81 GAA, which was good for 30th in the nation in 2014. In addition to his time with the Wolverines, Partee played for the Portland Timbers U-23 team in the summer of 2015, posting four shutouts in seven games played.

Partee prepped at Union High School in Camas, Wash., where he was a second team all-state selection as a sophomore in 2012, as well as an all-region selection in Washington. He was a member of the Region IV '95 ODP squad and a member of USSDA Portland Timbers Academy squad for two years (2012-14).

Partee joins eight others to make up the Lions' 2016 recruiting class. To read about the rest of the incoming class, click here.
