LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The LMU men's soccer team will head to the road for the first time in this young 2011 season. The Lions will travel to Tulsa, Okla., for a pair of games, starting with Oral Roberts on Thursday, Sept. 1 and then Tulsa on Sunday, Sept. 4. Both games get started at 5 p.m. (PT)

The Lions enter the week ranked 25th by CollegeSoccerNews.com and are coming another 1-0 overtime heartbreaker to Sacramento State in their opener. The Lions will now head to the road for the first time on the year.

The Lions will begin with Oral Roberts, who are looking to bounce back from a similar loss to Central Arkansas in their home opener. The Golden Eagles were picked to finish fourth in the Summit League, and are seeking their first win in the young season. Senior forward Jarrett Hamilton was named to the preseason All-Summit League Team.

LMU will end the week at Tulsa, who fell to SIU-Edwardsville to start the season, 3-1, and will play at Missouri State on Thursday. Tulsa men's soccer player Justin Chavez was named to the prestigious Hermann Tro- phy Watch List, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. This was Chavez' second time to be selected to the Watch List.
