Ranked Opponents Await Lions in San Luis Obispo

The LMU men's tennis team (3-6) will play a pair of ranked opponents this weekend when it travels to San Luis Obispo for matches against #61 Cal Poly (8-4) and #71 Utah State (12-2). The Lions and Mustangs will play Friday at 11 a.m. before Saturday's 1 p.m. match against Utah State.

Lions Split Pair of Matches

The LMU men's tennis team (3-6) split a pair of matches on Friday and Saturday, falling 6-1 to #30 San Diego on Friday before rebounding and defeating Northern Arizona on Saturday by a score of 5-2.

Pair of Home Matches Ahead for Lions, Free Pizza Friday

The LMU men's tennis team (2-5) will return home on Friday to host #30 San Diego (7-2) before playing Northern Arizona (2-4) on Saturday. The men's tennis program is offering free pizza for all fans in attendance on Friday against the Toreros. The pizza will be served after the doubles point is decided.

Smith Lands First Career WCC Men's Tennis Weekly Award

Loyola Marymount University freshman Errol Smith has been named the West Coast Conference Singles Player of the Week, while San Francisco's Bernardo Saraiva and Nils Skajaa claim doubles weekly honor in the sport of men's tennis, the league announced Tuesday.

Heartbreak Continues at #48 Pepperdine

The LMU men's tennis team (2-5, 0-1 WCC) dropped its third straight 4-3 decision on Saturday afternoon, this time falling on the road at #48 Pepperdine (5-3, 1-0 WCC) to open WCC play. The Lions have now fallen 4-3 in four of their five losses.

Another Heartbreaker for the Lions

The LMU men's tennis team (2-4) suffered another heartbreaking 4-3 loss on Thursday afternoon at Fresno State (4-2). Three of LMU's four losses this year have come in 4-3 fashion.

Lions Visit Fresno State, PCH Cup Rival #48 Pepperdine

The LMU men's tennis team (2-3) will have a busy week this week, traveling to Fresno State on Thursday for a match at 2 p.m. before opening WCC play on the road at PCH Cup rival #48 Pepperdine on Saturday at 3 p.m.
