Preparing to begin his third year at the helm of the LMU men’s tennis program, head coach Tom Lloyd got some encouraging news regarding the outlook of the 2016 campaign. Following a poll of the head coaches within the WCC, Lloyd’s Lions are picked to finish fourth in the conference standings.

Sophomore Errol Smith reached the round of 32 and senior Cristobal Rivera rebounded nicely to reach the semifinals of the consolation draw, as the Lions finished up play at the ITA Regional Tournament being hosted by Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.

The fall tennis season continues this week for LMU men’s tennis, as the Lions will send seven players to the ITA Regional Championships this weekend in Malibu, Calif. The tournament begins Thursday morning with singles play and runs through Sunday.
