A pair of trips to the NCAA Sweet 16 was the highlight of the 2016 Lions Athletic Fund Iggy Awards on Wednesday, April 28th at the DoubleTree LA Westside. Women's volleyball and women's soccer, who had historic runs in the their respective NCAA tournaments, were part of the many honors recognized at the 11th Annual Iggy Awards.

Playing in the quarterfinals of the 2016 West Coast Conference men’s tennis Championships on Thursday, #69 LMU (12-10) won the doubles point over #61 Pepperdine (13-10), but the Waves rallied to win the first four singles matches to earn a 4-1 victory and end LMU’s season.
