Briefly...Nico Terrien is in his senior year with the Lions after posting standout seasons as a underclassman... achieved a national singles ranking of 76th, becoming the highest ranked Lion in program history... begins senior campaign with a career record of 62-33 in singles and 42-25 in doubles...

At LMU... 2005-06... an All-WCC second-team selection after posting a 20-14 record in singles... also earned All-WCC honorable mention recognition in doubles with partner Mike Chan after going 21-6... that 21-6 mark set a new LMU single-season record for doubles team victories... 2004-05... finished with a 15-10 overall record in singles, despite missing the entire fall season due to surgery on his playing hand... during that run, he defeated Pepperdine's Pedro Rico, the defending WCC Player of the Year and a top-10 ranked player nationally... 2003-04... named WCC Freshman of the Year, becoming the first LMU men's tennis player to earn the rookie selection... was also a first-team All-WCC selection in singles and received honorable mention in doubles recognition with teammate Ashton Politanoff... named the WCC's April Player of the Month after finishing the month of with a perfect 7-0 mark at the No. 2 singles spot, including wins over Saint Mary's, UC Riverside, Idaho, Portland, Santa Clara, and San Francisco... finished season 27-8 in singles and 14-13 in doubles... after one of LMU's best rookie performances, he helped LMU equal the Lions' highest WCC finish in program history, finishing third at the WCC Championships... brought home the Lions first title of the season as he defeated top-seed Francisco Zepponi of Santa Clara in the first round and went on to beat Adam Fauvre of Saint Mary's in the Flight B Championship of the Pacific Tigers Invitational...

High School... a 2003 graduate of CENS... one of the top junior players in France... made the quarterfinal of the French Championships in 2001...

Personal...Nicolas Terrien was born July 5, 1984, in Nantes, France... the son of Therese and Gerard Terrien... has younger twin brothers, Thomas and Antoine... qualified for the honor roll in 2004-05... a sociology major.
