The Loyola Marymount men's tennis team will travel to the Los Angeles Tennis Center tomorrow to start their spring schedule against #6 UCLA. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. The Lions finished their season 7-15 last year and are looking to get off to a great start this year.
This will be the first time the two teams have met since the 2014 season, where the Lions fell 4-0. Head coach Tom Lloyd and the Lions (0-0) have their work cut out for them, as they battle a 3-0 Bruin squad that enters as the sixth-ranked team in the nation according to the latest ITA rankings. UCLA will head into the match carrying a three-match winning streak that features victories against George Washington, Grand Canyon, and Pepperdine.
Following LMU's match against UCLA, the Lions will travel to San Diego State, where they will rival the Aztecs at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
