After opening the season with a loss to #6 UCLA, the LMU men's tennis team (0-1) will head south to San Diego State University to face off against the Aztecs (0-0) this Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

LMU suffered a loss in its season opener at UCLA earlier this week, but Errol Smith and Diego Nava were able to garner some points for the Lions in singles play.

While this will be the first time the two teams meet head-to-head this year, both teams got a glimpse of one another while competing at the LMU Invite to finish the fall season. LMU as a team went 15-5 in singles, and 8-3 in doubles, over the course of the three-day invite. Saturday's match will be the first for the Aztecs in their 2018 season, as they will host the Lions and then BYU at 4 p.m. in a doubleheader from the Aztec Tennis Center.

After this weekend's match, LMU will travel to Las Vegas to duel UNLV and New Mexico State on February 2.
