Volmari and Bustamante Win WCC Doubles Team of the Week

San Bruno, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference announced Tuesday that LMU men's tennis players Todd Volmari and Sebastian Bustamante have won doubles team of the week.

Volmari a junior from Canberra, Australia who plays mainly on Court 2 for singles and senior Sebastian Bustamante is a senior from Guoyoquil, Ecuador who plays on Court 3 for singles. The two have played at No. 1 doubles in every match this season for the Lions and are 12-2 overall. They have won their last six decisions and went 2-0 last weekend over the top teams from BYU and Weber St. In March, they were 8-1 as a pair on the top court and had wins over the No. 1 doubles team of then No. 2 Virginia and then No. 71 College of Charleston.

The Lions are at home this weekend against Gonzaga at 11:00a.m. on Saturday and Portland at 11:00a.m. on Sunday.
