The LMU men’s tennis team will continue its fall season this week, traveling to Malibu, Calif. for the ITA Southwest Regional hosted by Pepperdine from the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.
There are 100 competitors, representing 12 different schools, scheduled to play in the tournament, including Arizona, Arizona State, Cal Poly, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, LMU, Pepperdine, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, USC and San Diego State.
LMU will send nine players to the tournament, as Max Kaiser, Ethan Prost, Lukas Moenter, Gabriel Diaz Freire, Diego Nava, Nick Borchenko, Ryan Brown, Lucas Moreno and Alex Bourgeois will all compete in singles play.
Moenter/Moreno, Borchenko/Diaz, Bourgeois/Brown, and Kaiser/Nava will all team to compete in doubles play.

LMU most recently competed at the UCSB Classic from October 6-8. There, Prost took home a third-place finish in Flight D singles. Freshmen Moreno and Nava each earned fifth-place finishes in their respective brackets, with Moreno playing in the Flight B singles, while Nava made his run in Flight C.
Following play at the ITA Regionals, LMU will head to the SoCal Intercollegiate tournament from October 26-30.
