Los Angeles, Calif - LMU Men's Tennis will be competing in their last tournament of the preseason this weekend at the UC Santa Barbara Invitational. The first match starts Friday Morning at 9am. Teams participating include, host UCSB, Cal-Poly, and Sacramento State.

Unlike previous fall tournaments, this tournament is a transition into regular season play. Instead of playing as individuals, the Lions will be competing as a team.

"The teams we will face this tournament, we will face in the season." Sophomore Ivan Lopez said. "Ending the fall with a victory will give us more confidence to start the season."

"We've been preparing for this for over a month." Sophomore Aris Andreasian said. "We're learning to support each other, be more prepared, work on the things that we were lacking, both physically and mentally."

On the first day of play, LMU will take on CAL Poly at 1pm.The Lions will begin Saturday against host UCSB at 9 then finish off the tournament on Sunday against Sacramento State.
