Highlights At LMU... 2010... led the Lions with a career-best 54 goals in 2010... added career-high 21 assists and 19 steals... scored in 26 of the 29 games on the season, going for more than one goal in 17 of those games... scored four goals in the road win over Santa Clara to lock-up No. 1 seed at WWPA tournament... went for a hat-trick in three straight games in three conference wins... scored five of the Lions' six goals against UCLA... 2009... led team with 46 goals... was named WWPA Player of the Week in first week of the season after scoring 14 goals at UCSD Invitational, including seven in win over Pomona-Pitzer and then six in win over No. 5 Pepperdine... added 19 assists, 23 kickouts drawn and 18 steals... scored three goals in the win over Santa Clara in WWPA semifinals... 2008... opened collegiate career earning WWPA Newcomer of the Year and WWPA All-Freshman team honors... was second on team with 49 goals (39.5 shooting percentage)... added 16 assists (second on team) and 22 steals... had a career-best four goals against Long Beach State (11/13/08) and finished year scoring two or more goals in 15 games... also earned Third-Team ACWPC All-Academic honors and was named to the Academic All-WWPA team...

Prior to LMU... Graduated from Zemynos in 2008... Asajavicius has an extensive international playing resume, including time with the GATO/Water Polo Planet All-Star Team where he played with LMU Athlete of the Year Tibor Forai. The pair formed a potent offense for the All-Star Team... In addition to his time with the All-Star Team, he played in summer leagues in Germany and Belorus, in the U.S. Premier League (Division 1) with the Northeast Zone Team, the Junior Olympics and the Commerce Invitational...

Personal... Edgaras Asajavicius was born on March 29, 1989 in Kaunas, Lithuania and is the son of Lorena and Anatolijus Asajavicius... coming to LMU "allows me to combine two of my most important interests in my life: water polo and education"... thanks to extensive playing time in Germany, United States and Belorus, a Russian coach, and lessons in high school, Asajavicius speaks four languages... he is a double major in Accounting and Finance.
