Geno del Rosario joined the LMU Strength and Conditioning staff in August of 2009 and in the fall of 2011 he was named Interim Head Strength Coach for LMU and its more than 425 student-athletes.
Prior to coming to LMU, del Rosario worked under the tutelage of former LMU Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Bobby Harmston, at UC Irvine.
While at UC Irvine, del Rosario worked avidly as a strength and conditioning volunteer intern. Honing other skills while in Irvine, he was the head instructor of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a personal trainer in the Anteater Recreation Center.
Prior to heading to UC Irvine, he served as a physical therapy aide at Restor Physical Therapy from 2002-2003.
Del Rosario earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in kinesiology and physical education from Long Beach State in 2001. A National Strength and Conditioning Association certified strength and conditioning specialist since January of 2010, del Rosario completed the CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Certification under Coach Mike Burgener. He also completed the CrossFit Football Strength and Conditioning Certification under Coach John Welbourne.
A native of Orange County, Calif., del Roasario currently resides in Long Beach, Calif.
