Honors... 2011... WWPA Player of the Week - Sept. 7...

Highlights At LMU... 2011... played in 22 of the 25 games for the Lions... opened season earning WWPA Player of the Week honors after allowing just 16 goals in four games at the Triton Invitational, including a 16-save performance in a 7-6 win over UCSD in their own pool... the 16 saves in that game is a career-best... he finished the season with 115 saves in 56 quarters of action... 2010... played in 10 games and total of 12 quarters in goal for the Lions... allowed just seven goals and made 20 saves in the process... pated a 2.33 goals against average...2009... played seven games behind Lions' All-American goalie... played in seven games, making eight saves with a goals against average of 5.71...

Prior to LMU... graduated from Riverside Poly High School... played all four years for Mark Colwell... a three-time all-league selection... earned All-CIF honors all three years... he was an All-American all three years, earning his highest honor at Second-Team as a senior... was named Scholar-Athlete and to Honor Roll...

Personal... Gavyn Durwyn Wild was born in Redlands, Calif., on March 19, 1991 and is the son of Durwyn Wild and the late Frieda Wild... he has three brothers and two sisters... volunteered with Freewheelers, a community support group for people with serious brain and spinal cord injuries... also volunteered at Speech and Fun Camp, a summer day camp working with children who have autism... he is a History major who hopes to go to law school.
