LOS ANGELES – Loyola Marymount men’s water polo (6-17, 2-4 WWPA) faced conference unbeaten UC Davis (18-5, 6-0 WWPA) on Thursday and was unable to ever grab a lead, losing 22-5.
After UC Davis jumped out to a 2-0 lead, Brunochelli cut the lead in half with his first of the game. The Aggies added one more before the end of the first, to lead 3-1.
That was LMU’s closest quarter, as UC Davis outscored the Lions by four, five, then six goals in the remaining three quarters.
The Lions return to Burns on Saturday to continue WWPA play with Concordia coming to the Bluff. Game time is set for noon with live stats and YouTube Live live stream available at the links above.
