LOS ANGELES (Mar. 21, 2013) - The Western Water Polo Association announced the 2012 WWPA Men's All-Academic Teams on Thursday, and 10 LMU student-athletes were on the list, the largest number for a single season in program history.

The team consists of members who carried a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), played in at least 50-percent of the team's contests in the sports respective season and was classified as a full-time student who has completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at his institution.

The 2012-13 WWPA Men's Water Polo All-Academic Team:
Seth Coldren - LMU (Fr., Biochemistry)
Jon Colton - LMU (Sr., MBA)
Vuk Cvetkovic - LMU (Fr., Electrical Engineering)
Emanuel Di Stasio - LMU (Fr., Engineering Undeclared)
John Mikuzis - LMU (Jr., Political Science)
Milutin Mitrovic - LMU (Fr., Electrical Engineering)
Liam Shorrock - LMU (Fr-RS, Health and Human Sciences)
Matt Stipanovich - LMU (So, Accounting)
Kyle Testman - LMU (Sr., Natural Science)
Jake Villareal - LMU (Fr., Theatre Arts)

Colton highlights the list of honorees, earning All-Academic honors for the third straight season. Mikuzis, a first-team All-WWPA selection and honorable mention All-American, was named All-Academic for the second year. Joining him with repeat honors was Testman.
