2011 WWPA All-Academic Team

LOS ANGELES -- The Western Water Polo Association announced the 2011 WWPA Men's All-Academic Team today, Friday, April 6. Seven LMU student-athletes were on that list, the most for any one single season in program history. All told, 85 student-athletes from the 12 teams have made the All-Academic teams for the 2011men's campaign.

This year's LMU members of the 2011 WWPA All-Academic Team include:

Edgaras Asajavicius
Jon Colton
Charlie Horton
John Mikuzis
Albert Samuels
Kyle Testman
Matt Venner

The team consists of members who carried a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), played in at least 50-percent of the team's contests in the sports respective season and was classified as a full-time student who has completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at his institution.
