Lions Roll to 18-5 Win
The LMU men’s water polo began their final two-game homestand with a 18-5 win over Concordia on Thursday afternoon at the Burns Aquatics Center.

LOS ANGELES – Coming off a ranked victory over No. 20 Santa Clara, Loyola Marymount men’s water polo continues play at Burns Aquatic Center with a pair of matches this weekend. Thursday’s UC Davis (17-5, 5-0 WWPA) game will begin at 3 p.m. with Saturday’s start time set for noon against Concordia (9-9, 3-2 WWPA).

The Lions are coming off their second win over a ranked opponent in as many weeks after knocking off No. 12 St. Francis on Oct. 20 and topping No. 20 Santa Clara for a conference win on Oct. 28.

With the calendar officially turned to November, LMU has three remaining games on the schedule with two this weekend and the final match on Nov. 8.

UC Davis brings their eight-game win streak to the Bluff, having not lost a game until their last trip to campus for the Mountain Pacific Invitational back in March.

Concordia enters the week having won three of their last four conference games. While the Lions and Aggies are playing, The Eagles will be hosting Cal Baptist in Irvine, Calif.

Both games will have a live stream through YouTube and live stats on TheFOSH.
