Erin Austin begins her first season with the LMU women's basketball team as a graduate assistant. She assists the coaching staff with administrative duties as she pursues her Theology Master's of Art degree in faith and cultural studies.

Austin graduated from Loyola Marymount in the spring of 2011 with a bachelor's degree in communication studies. During her undergraduate years, she worked in ASLMU on the committee of Performance Events. She eventually became the Director of Performance Events. Austin was also in Lambda Pi Eta (communications honors) and Delta Epsilon Iota (academic honors).

The Palos Verdes Peninsula, Calif., native who loves "any sport with a board and water" participated in Surf P.E. and Boarding Club during her high school years.
