Jenna Sybesma begins her fifth season with the Lions after redshirting the 2008-2009 season... an effective scorer... unassuming player... plays well with her back to the bucket... a gamer... extremely physical... crafty scorer... has great desire to grow as a player... tough and focused competitor... very creative with the ball.

2008-09...
Suffered a season-ending knee injury during preseason practice and used a medical redshirt for the 2008-09 season...

2007-08...
Made the LMU/Hilton Holiday All-Tournament Team... played in all 30 games and started 11... shot 49.0% from the field and 62.5% from the free throw line... averaged 10.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg and had 29 steals and 18 assists during the season... came off the bench in LMU's first eight games... scored LMU season-high 29 points, adding 14 rebounds for first career double-double vs. CSUB... had double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds with five steals vs. USD... had game-high 20 points vs. Gonzaga... topped then-career-highs with 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists in 25 minutes at NAU... in first start of season, registered 19 points and seven rebounds vs. FSU... had 18 points at UP and at SMC... led the team with 17 points in the WCC Tournament against Saint Mary's...scored 16 points vs. USF... exploded for then-career-high 13 points, adding five rebounds and four steals at Long Beach State... led team with 13 points and four steals vs. Pepperdine... had 12 points vs. UCI... had 12 points vs. UP... scored 11 points at USF and at SCU... posted 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists at #12 Cal... had nine points vs. JSU... registered seven points and seven rebounds vs. CP... scored six points vs. ISU and vs. KSU... had five points vs. UCSB and at #22 George Washington... scored four points at BSU... had two points vs. Santa Clara, at UNLV, at Georgetown, and at USD... did not score at Gonzaga or vs. SMC...

Improved on her numbers from her freshman year, becoming a valuable addition off the bench... started two games, playing in 29... averaged 2.9 ppg and 1.2 rpg... excelled in mid-December games, scoring eight points in the three games in non-conference action... played nine minutes in the first game of the season... grabbed one rebound and added an assist... appeared for four minutes against Toledo, adding and assist... was LMU's leading scorer in the second half in the win over Long Beach State, scoring a career-high seven points... grabbed a career-high four rebounds against Texas A&M... was a spark in LMU's come from behind win over Hawaii... played a career-high 10 minutes and scored eight points... continued to play well in games against N. Arizona and Fresno State, scoring eight points in each game while playing at least 16 minutes in a both games... had a standout game with a career-high 12 points in a career-high 20 minutes vs. Santa Clara... started both games at Portland and Gonzaga... played solid minutes at SCU and SMC to wrap up the regular season... Director's List Fall 2006...

2005-06...
Made her first career regular season appearance against UC Irvine... scored five points in just six minutes of action against the Anteaters... was a perfect 2-for-2 from the field...also grabbed an offensive rebound... appeared against Georgia, adding six points in nine minutes... was 2-for-3 from the field against the Dogs... was 2-for-3 from the field against UCSB, adding four points and grabbing three rebounds... added five points against Gonzaga... great post moves around the basket... made 70% of her shots this season... appeared in 12 games... played a season-high nine minutes against Georgia and UC Santa Barbara...

A 2005 graduate of Centennial HS in Corona, CA... four year letterwinner for Coach Nick Pardue... is a three-time All-CIF Division 1-AA honoree, and earned All-Mountain View League honors in all four years... was a three-time All-Riverside County and All-Inland Empire selection... averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game... three year captain... in 2004, she participated in the invitation-only All Game Sports All American camp in Charlotte, North Carolina

Jenna Larae Sybesma was born on Mar. 6, 1987 in Anaheim, CA... daughter of Ann and David Sybesma... has a brother, David and sister, Cherlyn... brother David played basketball at Cal Poly Pomona... recruited by San Diego State, UC Riverside and Nevada... chose LMU because it was close to home, would offer a great education, and had good people... competed against Amanda DeCoud in high school... Graduated with a degree in Sociology.
