Due to transfer rules, Buckingham will sit out the 2016-17 season and officially join the Lions' active roster in 2017-18 with two years of eligibility remaining.

2015-16 (Minnesota)

Played in eight games for the Gophers, averaging 3.4 minutes ... Had two games in which she grabbed two rebounds ... Blocked a shot against Nebraska (2/11) ... Had a block, a steal, two rebounds, and scored a point in season opener against Wofford (11/13).
