Women's Basketball USMC Team Building Exercise

Women's Basketball USMC Team Building Exercise on Jan. 5, 2015

Kiva Herman, a former University of San Diego standout, begins her third season as an assistant coach for the LMU women's basketball team in 2015-16.

Herman was a member of the Torero squad from 2005-09, earning first team All-West Coast Conference and team MVP honors her senior season. She was also named to the WCC All-Tournament team in 2009 after leading USD to the championship game.

Upon graduation from USD in May 2009 with a degree in communications studies, Herman played professionally for Canti Riva Basket in Chiasso, Switzerland (2009-10), and Olivais Futebol Clube in Coinbra, Portugal (2010-11). She joined the coaching ranks in 2011 as an assistant coach at Dixie State College where her primary duties included recruiting, travel coordination, on-court player development and scouting. Prior to LMU, Herman served as the director of operations/video coordinator at UC Irvine.
