Sara Brown begins her second season with the Lions after transferring from Colorado State... sat out the 2004-05 season due to NCAA transfer rules... wore the LMU jersey for the first time in Australia... strong outside shooter... will provide support in the guard position.

Played in 20 games, starting three ... averaged six minutes per appearance... scored 14 points on the season... averaged 1.1 rebounds per game... recorded eight assists and eight steals... scored a season-high four points against Denver (12/11/03)... dished out three assists in her first career game against Texas Southern (11/21/03)... grabbed a season-high four rebounds against Air Force (3/4/04).

High School
A 2003 graduate of San Clemente HS... scored the final six points to lead San Clemente to a 42-40 victory over El Camino in the first round of the CIF Southern California Regional Division I State Tournament... Named captain her senior year... Played at El Toro HS her freshman season before transferring to San Clemente... was a three-year First Team All-South Coast Leage selection and co-MVP of the conference her senior year... was also All-State for three seasons and was an adidas All-American in 2002 and 2003... was a Street & Smith's Honorable Mention All American the same two years... was on the principal's honor roll all three years at San Clemente... played for the Orange County Swith Club team from 1999 to 2001 before playing for the top-ranked West Coast All-Stars in 2002... led her high school teams to a 109-16 record in her four seasons of varsity play... ranks third at San Clemente in scoring with 1,143 points... once made four three-pointers in a game... prep basketball coach was Mary Mulligan.

Sara Ashley Brown was born May 30, 1985 in Hinsdale, IL... daughter of Tammy and Charles Brown... also recruited by Virginia, Oregon, Arizona and UC Santa Barbara ... selected LMU because of the supurb quality of education, the positive and effective women's basketball program, and the proximity to friends and family... a sociology major.
