Appeared in 30 of the Lions' 31 games... started 26 games, including the last 17 straight... averaged 11.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game... averaged 28.6 minutes per game... scored in double-digits 17 times... led the Lions in scoring eight times... recorded four double-doubles including a 15-point, 13-rebound effort at Northern Arizona (Dec. 3), a 20-point, 11-rebound effort at Gonzaga (Jan. 17), a 13-point, 11-rebound effort at San Francisco (Feb. 19) and a 21-point, 10-rebound outing against Pepperdine (Feb. 28)... scored 20 points or more three times, including a career-high 29 points against Portland (Feb. 14)... shot 40 percent from the field and a team-high 83.6 percent from the free-throw line... her free-throw percentage ranked seventh in the WCC...

Became a significant contributor her sophomore season... appeared in 29 games, earning 15 starts... averaged 19.8 minutes, 7.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game... led the Lions in scoring twice, including a 27-point outburst at Pepperdine (Jan. 11)... went 10-for-13 from the field and 5-for-5 from the charity stripe for the highest individual point total of the season... reached double figures 10 times... hit three or more three-pointers three times, including a 4-for-6 performance at San Francisco (March 1)... was perfect from the free-throw line in 13 games...

Sophie Barrow Taylor was born August 24, 1994 in Concord, Calif.... parents are Marcia and Derek Taylor... has one older sister, Tess, and one younger brother, Oliver... has volunteered with Sister-to-Sister Summitt and worked in an elementary school special education classroom... also considered attending Saint Mary's, Lehigh, Columbia, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth and Penn... chose LMU because of the opportunity to continue to play basketball as well as the campus atmosphere and curriculum... majoring in physics... also earning a minor in applied mathematics...
