Renahy Young to Appear on Tonight's WCC Live

LOS ANGELES - Coming off her fourth career West Coast Conference Player of the Week honor and leading LMU to a 2-0 start in conference play, senior Renahy Young will be this week's featured guest on WCC Live, the conference's weekly Internet radio show. The show airs from 8-9 p.m. every Wednesday. Young (Torrance, Calif.) had an historic week to help LMU to its first 2-0 start in conference play since 2005-06. She topped 20 points in both games, giving her a career-best four straight games scoring 20-or-more points while also becoming LMU's career leader in free throws made. For the week, Young averaged 23.0 points, 3.0 steals, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while shooting 45.5% from the floor, 35.7% from three, and 11-for-11 at the line. The West Coast Conference's weekly Internet radio show, "WCC Live" is hosted by Jeff Lampe, play-by-play announcer of the Lions. The hour-long show features interviews with WCC coaches and student-athletes throughout the basketball season, leading up to the 2011 Zappos.com West Coast Conference Basketball Championships at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. "WCC Live" premieres with a new live stream every Wednesday at 8 p.m., with an archive available for listening on-demand or free download. Listeners can interact with the show in a number of ways, including phone, e-mail, Twitter, and Facebook.
