In conjunction with the West Coast Conference, LMU women's basketball announces its 2017-18 conference schedule. The quest for the 2017-18 WCC crown will be contested over a nine-week span, and consist of a double round-robin format. Conference play is slated to begin on Thursday, December 28, 2017 and will conclude on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
The Lions welcome Saint Mary’s (Dec. 28) and Pacific (Dec. 30) to open WCC play. Adding a total of nine WCC home match ups to the schedule, you will be able to catch the Lions 16 times at home this season.
After the New Year LMU will travel up north to face Santa Clara January 4. The Lions continue on up to Washington to take on reigning WCC regular season and tournament champion Gonzaga (Jan 6). The road trip concludes back in the bay against San Francisco (Jan. 11).
The 18-game league schedule has the Lions on their home court Jan. 13 and 18 versus San Diego and BYU respectively. After solo home game, LMU hits the road for two at San Diego (Jan. 27) and BYU (Feb. 1). Gersten Pavilion is host to game two against Portland (Feb. 3), before the team is back on the road at both Saint Mary’s (Feb. 8) and Pepperdine (Feb. 10).
In the final stretch of the regular season the Lions have their longest home stand of the regular season.
