LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Ashlee Dunlap used a pair of double doubles to earn WCC Player of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 19-26. It is the second time this season that the junior forward has earned the weekly honor. She averaged 15 points and 10.5 rebounds last week.
Dunlap started the week with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Rice on Monday night. She recorded her WCC-leading fifth double double of the season in LMU's 63-57 win over Cal Poly on Wednesday night. She broke her career-high with 17 points, and her rebounding was instrumental to LMU's second half comeback. She pulled down 11 rebounds in the game. She also added three steals, two assists and a blocked shot on the week.
Dunlap and the Lions return to action on December 29th when they face Lafayette at the Dartmouth Tournament. LMU will face either Dartmouth or Akron on December 30th.
