Briefly...
Sara Aldama enters her fifth year with the Lions, her third on the field after suffering a torn ACL before the start of the 2001 and 2002 season...will serve as team captain for the second straight year... will play left or right back...good at attacking from the back...epitome of maturity and professionalism both on and off the field...

At LMU... 2004...
Honorable mention All-WCC... appeared in 19 games, starting 18 in the LMU defense... scored her first career goal against San Francisco (Oct. 22)... three of her four shots were on goal... named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week on Oct. 27...earned the Golden Goal Award for 2004 for her goal against USF... winner of the 2004 Coaches Awards...

2003...
played in 19 games and was a starter in 17 of those games...spent most of her time as part of a stingy Lion defense that allowed an average of only 1.3 goals per game...registered a shot against Cal State Northridge (Aug. 29)...voted rookie of the year, along with Tana Smothermon, by her teammates...

Sara Michelle Aldama was born on June 2, 1983 in Redlands, CA...the daughter of Robert and Diane Aldama...has one brother, Robert, and one sister, Heather...enjoys going to the beach in her spare time...her favorite athlete is her sister, Heather, who played for Santa Clara and was a member of the Boston Breakers of the former WUSA league...a Psychology major and Sociology minor.
