Michelle Myers named Jessica White as Assistant Coach for the women's soccer program in June 2017. The fall 2017 season will be her first with the Lions.

White joins the staff after serving as the goalkeeper coach at University of La Verne and San Bernardino Valley College.

"Upon meeting Jessica, I was very impressed with her passion for the sport and for the coaching profession," said Myers. "Since graduating from UC Riverside she has actively pursued coaching opportunities at all levels and with both genders. Jessica is extremely competitive and hard-working which are two attributes that we want to instill in our players. She also sets very high standards for her players and challenges them daily to improve. I know she is going to be a great role model and mentor for our players."

White joins the Lions following a recent stint with her former college coach Nat Gonzalez at UC Riverside after working the previous three seasons as an assistant coach at University of La Verne and three years at San Bernardino Valley College.

Outside of the collegiate ranks, White has been coaching several teams from U13 through U18 for MGFM Soccer Club in Riverside, Calif. White, like both Myers and LMU Assistant Coach Joey Hoffman, has experience with the Olympic Development Program after working with Nevada ODP since 2016.

White played four years at UC Riverside, finishing her career ranked third for lowest goals against average in program history, and second in minutes played, wins, and shutouts.
