Lily Sorentino enters her senior campaign at LMU... 2008 First Team All-WCC... 2007 WCC All-Freshman Team... a true target forward who excels with her back to goal... good in the air and comfortable on the ball... athletic with a nose for goal... in just two seasons, has already proved herself to be one of the best distributors of the ball in LMU history...

At LMU...

2009...
Preseason All-WCC selection... played in 10 games, starting three... started LMU's first three games of the season before suffering an injury against Northern Arizona (Aug. 30) and missing over a month... returned to action for WCC play... scored one goal for two points... attempted 10 shots, putting seven on frame... scored in season finale at Saint Mary's (Nov. 7)...

2008...
First Team All-WCC... started all 19 games... led the team and tied the school record with eight assists... also scored one goal for 10 points... attempted a team-leading 37 shots... tallied 18 shots on goal, the most on the squad... scored the game-winning goal vs. Cal State Northridge (Oct. 3)... five of her assists either tied the game or gave LMU the lead...

2007...
appeared in all 19 games, five as a starter... led the Lions with six assists... added two goals to tie for third on the squad with 10 points... took 26 shots, 15 on goal... selected Honorable Mention All-WCC and to the WCC All-Freshman Team... registered a goal and an assist against Lamar (Sept 14)... scored the game-winning goal in overtime after assisting on the game's first goal vs. Saint Mary's (Oct. 26)... assisted the game-winning goal vs. Idaho (Sept. 28)... had assists vs. Hawaii (Oct. 4), at #9 Santa Clara (Oct. 21), and vs. San Francisco (Oct. 28)...

High School...
a four-time All-League selection at Santa Rosa High School... was named the North Bay League MVP by the Press Democrat as a senior... averaged more than 21 goals per season in high school for a total of 87 career goals... played for the Santa Rosa United Freeze... CIF-NCS Scholar Athlete... selected for the Super Y/ODP National U15 team in February 2006 and then for the US Soccer U17 Women's National Team pool in June of 2006.
