2004... fourth leading scorer on the team with seven points... started all 20 games in the midfield... both goals were game-winners... first game-winner was vs. Nevada (Aug. 27)... also had game-winner against Eastern Washington (Oct. 3)... registered assists vs. Nevada (Aug. 27), Oregon State (Sept. 26) and San Francisco (Oct. 22)...her 33 shots taken was third on the team... 12 shots on goal...
2003... played in 19 and started in 15 as a rookie...scored two goals and three assists for a total of seven points...had goals against Boston Univ. (Sept. 7) and San Francisco (Nov. 2)...tallied a total of 25 shots, 13 of which were on goal... voted rookie of the year, with Sara Aldama, by her teammates...

Smothermon is a 2003 graduate of Valley Christian High School in San Jose, CA...a two-sport athlete, competed in both soccer and tennis...earned four varsity letters in soccer and one in tennis...captained her junior and senior soccer squads...was a four-time All-Blossom Valley League pick...earned league Freshman and Sophomore of the Year honors...led the Blossom Valley League in scoring as a sophomore and junior...was selected as league MVP as a junior...garnered first-team all-league honors as a senior...was a four-time scholar-athlete...prep soccer coach was Coreq Dmitrovich...
