Briefly...
Whitney Temple begins her fourth year at LMU...team captain...team leader on and off the field... a true competitor...provides stability and grit on defense...strikes the ball well...good in the air...in 2004 played with teammate Tana Smothermon on the Pleasanton Rage U19 club team which won a USYSA National Championship...

At LMU...2005... earned WCC honorable mention honors... started 18 games and appeared in all 20... scored her only goal of the season against Navy (Sept. 4)... her goal earned LMU's Golden Goal award as the best goal of the season... assisted on the game-winning goal against UC Riverside (Sept. 23)... took 17 shots, five on goal... had two shots on goal against San Francisco (Oct. 23)... had seven shots in the first four games of the year...

2004... started the 18 games in which she appeared... put in the game-winner against San Francisco (Oct. 22)... took 16 shots, and 10 were on goal...

2003... played in 19 games and started in four...scored her first collegiate goal against Stanford (Oct. 5)...first collegiate assist came in a win over Oregon (Sept. 26)...took a total of 11 shots, two of which were on goal...

Personal... Whitney Kristina Temple was born on Sept. 14, 1985 in Walnut Creek, CA...the daughter of Edmond and Kristen Temple...has one brother, Elliot...also recruited by Portland, California and Pepperdine...is a Psychology major and a Studio Arts minor.
