FULLERTON, Calif. - A Cal State Fullerton score with just 1:21 remaining snapped a scoreless tie and send the LMU women's soccer team to drop a 1-0 decision to the Titans Friday night.

LMU moves to 3-4-0 on the season while the Titans improve to 3-2-1 overall.

Shot opportunities were sparse for the Lions throughout as they had three shots in the first first half and three in the second. Cal State Fullerton goalkeeper Lindsey Maricic came up with three big saves to keep the lions off the board.

LMU's Brittany Jagger had three saves of her own as the Titans had just four shots on goal despite 17 total shots on the night.

The dagger came at the 88:39 mark when Brianna Chapman collected an LMU defensive clear near the left corner of the box and fired a long shot into the right far post, giving the Titans the 1-0 advantage.

LMU continues its hunt for its first road win of the season on Sunday, facing off against No. 23 USC. Kick off at McAlister Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
