London Day 2-
Woke up so early, Matt was late
But we didn't mind, because he is so great!
On a bus tour, we saw all the sights,
Beautiful buildings at incredible heights!
A personal favorite was seeing the tower,
Despite the fact that it was quite a long hour!
We went to see the Tower of London, a must see!
We saw royal gems, glitz, glamour and glee!
We saw armor and swords, it looked like "A Knight's Tale",
The prison weapons must've made prisoners scream and wail!
Off to practice, how tired we were,
But that didn't keep us from causing a stir.
We showed up at the fields, the English boys cooed,
When we scrimmaged and lost, I utterly booed.
Back to the hotel, dinner we ate,
Then we saw some more sights, the views were great!
Took a pic with a lion, in Trafalgar Square,
Off to bed, see you tomorrow, I'll be there!
London Day 3-
Woke up in London, fresh as can be
Rushing to finish journals, so we don't get a "B"
Casana was on time, that was a first!
Orange juice at breakfast quenched our thirst.
Off to Wembley Stadium! Aw, what a thrill!
A different side of London than what's shown in "Notting Hill"
The jerseys, the trophy, the lockers, such inspiration!
Walking on the field was an exciting sensation
Then free time we had, off to lunch we went
At Harrod's some had "High Tea", but in their wallets they put a dent
Finding Kensington Gardens put our legs to the test
As we walked around Hyde Park without any rest
It rained and it poured and we were not pleased,
But a calming boat ride on the Thames River put our minds at ease
An eventful day, some shopped, some walked
We fed the birds, they flocked, we got lost, the British mocked
Dinner was great, spaghetti bolognese!
Then free time; I hit the bowling alleys!
McDonald's for internet and a late night snack,
Ah, London, I love you, and I will be back!
