Women’s Soccer Reveals Fall Schedule
Lions Host 12 Matches at Sullivan Field
LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount women’s soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the 2017 season. The Lions play at Sullivan Field for 12 home games, as well as a season-opening exhibition, and will be on the road for seven contests.
LMU is coming off of a 11-5-3 season in 2016, and looks to build off that with a full slate this fall.
The first opportunity to see the Lions in action will be on Saturday, Aug. 12 for a 1 p.m. exhibition against SMU at home. The regular season opens with a pair of road contests across the country at Rutgers and at Purdue, respectively.
LMU will return to a string of six straight home games between Aug. 27 and Sept. 15. After a trip to Santa Barbara to face the Gauchos, LMU finishes off the nonconference portion of its schedule with the Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 24.
Conference play opens with a pair in the bay area, before returning home to host rival Pepperdine. The Lions will get the opportunity to close out the season at home, with the final three West Coast Conference games scheduled for Sullivan Field.
Season ticket information will be available soon. Keep checking LMULions.com for updates.
