Los Angeles, CA - In an April 1 article by the Washington Post, Loyola Marymount University was ranked 20th in a national ranking of universities and institutions considered hidden gems of higher education.

In the list compiled by author Jay Matthews, LMU was the only school from the West Coast Conference. The list was based on colleges and universities that Matthews determined to deserve bigger reputations.
