SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Four members of Loyola Marymount women’s soccer have been recognized by the West Coast Conference for their successes this season on the field and in the classroom. The WCC released its All-Academic teams on Wednesday with Emma Tyrnauer being named to the team and Shelby Cormier, Jill Farley, and Melissa Lewis earning honorable mention accolades.
Tyrnauer adds to her 2017 First Team All-WCC accolades earned at the beginning of the month.
LMU had four members on the 2016 All-Academic team as well, including Cormier, Farley, and Tyrnauer as honorable mention selections. This is Farley’s third season as an All-Academic performer.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to her team.
