Briefly...Lisa Abbott enters her fifth season in a Lions' uniform after redshirting in 2002...one of the top home run hitters in school history...

At LMU... 2004... All-PCSC first-team... PCSC Player of the Week (Feb. 10)... played in 46 games for the Lions, starting 45... was third on the team with a .379 batting average... third on the Lions in four categories with nine home runs, nine doubles, 12 walks and .641 SLG%...ranked in the top five in the PCSC in batting average, slugging %, on base %, runs, hits, home runs and total bases... led the team with four steals...2003... started and played in all 53 games for the Lions... was named second-team All-PCSC... was sixth on the squad among starters with a .282 batting average, a career-best... also had career highs with 50 hits, 26 runs scored, 11 doubles, two triples and five home runs... had 16 multiple hit games... equaled a career-high with 14 RBI... went 3-for-5 against Sacramento State (4/18/03) and went 3-for-4 against Saint John's (3/2/04)... 2002...started in each of the eight games she played...had four hits and scored two runs...2001...played in 54 games, earning 50 season starts...batted .216 on the season...scored 11 runs...had 29 hits...four doubles, one triple and one home run...added 14 RBI...three stolen bases...

High School... she is a 2000 graduate of Fairfield High School...earned three varsity letters in softball and served as team captain as a senior...an all-city and All-Montecello Empire League honoree in 1999 and 2000...team MVP as a senior...competed against fellow Lion Trisha Gomes...also was a four-year letter winner and all-city selection in soccer...
