The LMU softball team opened play at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic Friday, with a pair of losses, falling 8-2 to No. 5 Florida and 7-1 to Cal State Fullerton.

Softball Opens Season With 9-0 Shutout

The LMU softball team opened the 2013 season in style, clinching a 9-0 shutout of Colorado State in its opening game of the Red Desert Classic in St. George, Utah.
