First Team All-CIF selection in all four of her years... two-time Christian League MVP... four-time All-Christian League selection... led Aquinas to back-to-back league championships... two-time all-state... as a 14-year-old on the Orange County Dynasty, pitched 1-0 shutout of Texas under-18 team at ASA Nationals... went 16-1 with 0.60 ERA as a senior... posted career record of 69-15 with 779 strikeouts and just 11 walks in 483 innings... also played three years of basketball, earning All-Christian League honors twice...
Personal...Stevie Renee Goldstein was born on May 13, 1992 in Redlands, Calif.... daughter of Tami and the late Samuel Goldstein... chose LMU because it was a "great fit of smaller size, prestigious academics, and gorgeous campus"... also considered Notre Dame, New Mexico, Florida, Alabama, Texas, and NYU, among others... was a teammate of fellow Lion Skylar Segura on the Explosion 18 Gold travel ball team... majoring in communications...
