Briefly... Krystal Kehr enters her fourth season in a Lions' uniform... ranks in the top-7 of seven career pitching categories at LMU...
At LMU...saw her ERA go down the entire season...also had 17 at-bats with two home runs...had her best career performance against Portland State (4-3-05), tossing a one-hit shutout with a season-high six strikeouts to lead LMU to a 1-0 win... had three complete games, all in PCSC play... had a 2.39 ERA in PCSC games with a 3-1 record... pitched a scoreless sixth inning in the PCSC Championship-clinching game, keeping the score tied 3-3 and setting up the seventh inning heroics...also earned the win in that game... took a loss in her first three starts, but didn't get another loss until the last day of the regular season...two of her three hits on the season were home runs... scored the lone run against Sacramento State in the 2-1 loss (5-1-05).
2004... Led the Lions with a 2.06 ERA... her ERA ranked fourth in the PCSC...the Lions' premier control pitcher with only 17 walks and one wild pitch in 91 innings... gave up only two home runs... had a dominating record of 10-2...2003...another talented freshman for the Lions in 2003, leading the team with a 16-8 record as the Lions number one starter... she led the team with a 2.06 ERA and finished the season with six shutouts, the fifth most in LMU history... in 32 appearances she started 26 games and went the distance 13 times... she finished with 68 strikeouts to just 49 walks to earn second-team All-PCSC honors... she was named PCSC Pitcher of the Week on March 4 after going 4-0 in four starts while allowing no runs in 23.2 innings... also had 33 at-bats with six hits to finish with a .182 average...
High School...a 2002 graduate of Petaluma High School in Petaluma, CA...a four-year softball letterwinner...was team captain her senior year...was a three-time all-city, All-Sonoma County and All-Redwood Empire selection...
Personal... Krystal Victoria Kehr was born in Santa Rosa, CA...she is the daughter of Walter and Mendi Kehr...has two sisters, Erika and Shannon... played against former Lion Tiffany Lawson in high school... a Communications major.
