Margo Pineda enters her final season of softball at LMU...

At LMU... 2006...
First Team All-PCSC at second base... third on the team in batting average at .325... second highest slugging percentage at .473... had four home runs, nine doubles, two triples and recorded 19 RBI... led the team with 16 multi-hit games... had four multi-RBI games... started all 53 games at second base... had multi-hit games in three of the four contests against Santa Clara... was 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a two runs scored in the third game of the series... was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored against San Diego on May 6th... recorded three-hit games against Hawaii, Wagner Kentucky and San Diego... solid defensively, finishing the season with a .972 fielding percentage... led the team with eight sacrifice hits... also added two sacrifice flies... hit .294 in PCSC play, recording hits in 13 of the 20 conference games...

2005...
2005 PCSC Player of the Year... First Team All-PCSC... LMU's most consistent offensive weapon in the second half of the season... three-time PCSC Player of the Week selection...hit .455 at the Palm Springs Classic against the top teams in the country... led the team and PCSC in hitting during conference games, going 26-for-61 (.426) against conference teams... hit four home runs with 10 RBI and a .689 slugging percentage in PCSC play... led the team in overall batting average as well, hitting .351 with seven home runs and nine doubles...had the team's longest hitting streak at 15 games... had seven multi-hit games during that 15 game stretch... hit safely in all but three PCSC games... her first hit of the season was a three-run home run against Notre Dame (2-25-05)...after recording just one hit in the first weekend of PCSC play, she started the first Saint Mary's game 0-for-3... broke out of that slump with a two-RBI walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead LMU to a come-from-behind 7-6 win (4-9-05)...after that hit, she batted .511 in PCSC games (24-for-47) with four home runs, three doubles and 14 runs... scored the game-winning run in LMU's PCSC Championship-clinching game against Sacramento State (4-30-05)... hit a blistering .462 with a 1.231 slugging percentage in the series against Santa Clara... she was 6-for-13 with three home runs, a double, four runs and four RBI against the Broncos... her solo home run was the difference in LMU's 1-0 win in game two of Saturday's doubleheader, and hit two home runs in game one of Sunday's doubleheader... in the series finale against SCU, she drove home LMU's only run in the 1-0 win.

Appeared in 36 games for the Lions in 2004, mostly as a pinch runner... had six hits in 27 at-bats her first year...

graduated from Dana Hills High School with a 3.6 GPA... earned seven letters in high school, four in softball and three in soccer... was a two-time team captain in softball and a captain in soccer her senior season... in softball she was a three-time all-league player in the South Coast League... earned All-CIF and all-county honors as a senior... played for coach Margo Watkins...
