Was a scholar athlete and an honor roll student at Mission Viejo High School... helped lead Mission Viejo to the 2014 CIF and California state titles and the national championship... team was ranked as nation's No. 1 team for six consecutive weeks at one point... was a four-year varsity player who hit .386 for her career, playing in 120 of 125 games with 121 hits, 71 runs and 74 RBIs... helped lead Mission Viejo to four South Coast League titles and received all-league honors all four years... earned first-team All-CIF and first-team All-Orange County honors... voted to the Ryan Lemmon All Star Team and Riverside vs. Orange County All-Star Team... as a senior, hit .409 with a .517 on-base mark and 13 stolen bases... as a junior in 2013, earned second-team All-CIF and first-team all-league honors after batting .393 with five homers, 24 RBIs and nine stolen bases... hit .391 with one homer, 17 RBI and seven steals as a sophomore in 2012... in 2011, garnered first-team All-CIF and first-team all-league accolades after hitting .369 with two homers, 17 RBIs and eight stolen bases.

Shianne Marie Ybarra was born on April 17, 1996, in Mission Viejo, CA... parents are Troy Ybarra and Candace Ybarra... father, Troy, played baseball at UC Irvine from 1981-82... has three older siblings, Chelsey Kasala, Mariah Young-Ybarra and Tayler Ybarra, and one younger sibling, Camryn Ybarra... older sister Tayler Ybarra is a catcher at Cal State San Marcos... older sister, Mariah, was a cheerleader at Boise State from 2010-13... has worked at Jenny Finch softball camps since 2010... recipient of the Smokey Hensley Women's Athletic Scholarship... Communications major at LMU.
