Betsi Metter is in her fourth season with LMU sand volleyball... All-American in 2014 after reaching the Final Four of the AVCA Sand National Championship with partner Litara Keil... reached the quarterfinals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball U23 World Championships in June of 2014...

AT LMU
2014... garnered All-American honors... posted a 19-13 overall record while paired with Litara Keil, including going 11-8 at the #1 spot... the duo reached the Final Four of the AVCA Sand National Championship and went 8-5 in tournament play... it was the first trip to the Final Four for an LMU pair... paired with Kelley Larsen, reached the quarterfinals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball U23 World Championships in June of 2014...

2013... did not compete for the Lions...

2012... named to the U21 USA Beach National Training Team in June of 2012...

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Ariz... was a four-year varsity letterwinner playing for Molly West... served as team captain in her final two seasons... named All-City as a junior and senior... took home All-State honors in each of her final two campaigns... left high school owning five Desert Vista school records, including that for career kills at 1,317... selected 2008 Southeast Valley Player of the Year and Desert Vista Female Athlete of the Year... led the state of Arizona and was second in the nation in digs with 708 as a junior... finished 13th in the nation that same year with 462 kills en route to one of her two All-Central Region selections... twice garnered a spot on the Arizona Republic All-Arizona Top-Six Team, a list of Arizona's top-six players regardless of school size... served as captain and MVP of the USA High Performance Championship Team in 2008... on the beach, was a member of the USA Beach Youth National Training Team, and took first place at the AAU National Beach Championships in 2009 for the U18 division... earned a first-place finish at the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Beach Championships for the U14 division in 2006...

Betsi Drew Metter was born August 13, 1992, in Huron, S.D... daughter of Tammy and Tim Alme, and the late Drew Metter... has two sisters, Sarah and Sophia, and a brother, Roy... married to LMU men's basketball player Chase Flint... recruited by Concordia, Boise State, UC Riverside, Nebraska, Utah, Northern Arizona, Arizona and Arizona State, but chose LMU because of the great combination of academics and volleyball, the coaches, and the location... a natural science major.
