Betsi Drew Metter was born August 13, 1992, in Huron, S.D... daughter of Tammy and Tim Alme, and the late Drew Metter... has two sisters, Sarah and Sophia, and a brother, Roy... also recruited by Concordia, Boise State, UC Riverside, Nebraska, Utah, Northern Arizona, Arizona and Arizona State, but chose LMU because of the great combination of academics and volleyball, the coaches, and the location... a natural science major.
